I know this is a bit of a long shot, but also know that many of you out there probably have better contacts than me.
I'm very interested in getting hold of blind rock climbers. I'm just starting out with climbing, but have a really wonderful instructor who's keen to take me all the way. At the minute I'm a very baby beginner on the walls, but we're looking at going outdoors as soon as it warms up, and I'd like to start exploring the more technical side of things like gear placement, lead climbing, techniques etc. While he's really good at coming up with work arounds and ideas, it would be great to have contact with an experienced blind climber who would be willing to discuss methods with me. Do any of you know anyone who might help?
OOoh, sounds interesting. I want to do the walls, don't really have interest in outdoor at this point, but info is always good.
